ABA Autismus Therapie Düsseldorf GmbH was founded in 2017 to serve the growing need for Applied Behavior Analysis treatment services in Germany. We are dedicated to improve the lives of children and their families.
We are a team comprised of Behavior Analysts and Co-therapists represented in the cities of Düsseldorf, Munich and Frankfurt. ABA ATD is committed to providing personalised ABA programs for children touched by autism spectrum disorder and/or learning or behavior difficulties.
The founder, Mr. Rodrigo Pellet Lastra, is a Clinical Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and father of a child with autism.
When his son was diagnosed with autism, Mr. Pellet Lastra, already a psychologist with 20 years of experience, sought out the best possible therapy for his son; his research brought him to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
After participating in several ABA workshops in Germany and Switzerland, Mr. Pellet Lastra decided to specialize in the treatment of autism-related developmental disorders using the ABA approach. Between 2011 and 2012 Mr. Pellet Lastra completed the Masters Program "ABA Interventions in Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities" at ABA-España, in Madrid, Spain. The Masters program is recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as an educational organization for certification as a behavior analyst.
In 2013, Mr. Pellet Lastra gained further experience in the treatment of autism through supervised participation in the "ABA Psicología Enséñame", Madrid, Spain, and the "Fundación Planeta Imaginario", Barcelona, Spain. Both institutions are leading ABA service providers in Spain.
From February 2014 to January 2017 Mr. Pellet Lastra worked at the Autism Therapy Center Rhein Wupper GmbH. In addition to his work as a therapist for children with ASD, Mr. Pellet Lastra supervised a team of therapists and co-therapists in developing and implementing ABA-based therapeutic interventions.
